American rapper Macklemore performed on the final night of his Free Palestine tour, which he organized after being dropped as a supporting act from Ed Sheeran's concerts in the United States. Fans gathered to voice their support for the artist during the tour's conclusion. According to AOL.com, Macklemore told a crowd at Wembley Stadium that the children of Gaza are our children. [1][4][6]

According to the London Evening Standard, Macklemore expressed endless love for supporters of his tour. Al Jazeera reported that fans spoke about their reasons for attending the independent shows, which were scheduled after his removal from Sheeran's tour. The rapper had faced expulsion from the lineup following pro-Palestine statements made during previous stage performances. [1][3]

Ed Sheeran and his team removed Macklemore from the Loop Tour in September 2026 after onstage statements by the rapper during two performances in New Jersey. The decision followed pressure from pro-Israel advocacy groups and venue owners, including American businessman Robert Kraft. Macklemore, Kraft, and Sheeran all published statements detailing their views on the matter shortly after the removal. [6]

By September 15, all remaining opening acts for Sheeran's tour, including Aaron Rowe, Finneas, Lukas Graham, and the Irish band Beoga, had also withdrawn. Macklemore's prior music catalog has addressed various social issues, including LGBTQ rights. His recent independent tour focused on raising support for Palestine following his departure from the mainstream concert circuit. [6][7]
