According to air traffic control recordings cited by France 24, the pilot had reported icing, precipitation, and severe turbulence before the Learjet entered a steep dive. France 24 added that the Bahamas-bound aircraft plunged from the sky and appeared to just miss homes before crashing near the roadway. [1]
